GORDON
The Copernican Principle is a collection of stories, featuring Gordon and Bayleaf as they muddle through life on Earth. In Gordon's aging body, that's slightly the wrong colour, living in a northern town with a southern accent.
Gordon an Illegal Alien is the first story in the series. Visiting Earth on business, in a human body, Gordon discovers Barnsley. However, chaos ensues when all Aliens are recalled from the planet.
Gordon's Wild Life is the second story. As Gordon adjusts to life in Barnsley as a truck driver.
The Squirrel Years are set some 20 years earlier, when Gordon spends 3 years on Streatham Common, living as a squirrel.
